Raisin clusters

My father-in-law and I fight over these at Christmas time. Good luck to anyone else that wants to get their hands on them. Other than butter tarts, these have to be my favourite Christmas treat. So simple and so tasty, just be sure to make lots as they’ll get eaten very quickly.

  • 2 pounds raisins
  • 1 pound chocolate (we use 1/2 unsweetened and 1/2 semi-sweet. Use what ever you like really.)

Melt chocolate with a double boiler (or in the microwave). Mix with raisins. Drop them in small piles on parchment paper and let them cool. Makes between 3 and 4 dozen depending on the size you make them. Store in an air tight container.

  1. Oh wow! These do sound easy and super yummy! When I first saw the picture the looked like chocolate covered espresso beans, which are fantastic, but when I looked at the recipe I was excited. I love chocolate covered raisins!

  4. I just made some Chocolate Corn Flake clusters. They turned out great with a little but of crunch. These raisin ones, however, look delicious as well. I’ll try them out soon. Thanks for sharing!
