Raisin clustersDecember 22nd, 2008 | Written by jfolkmann | Topic: Dessert
My father-in-law and I fight over these at Christmas time. Good luck to anyone else that wants to get their hands on them. Other than butter tarts, these have to be my favourite Christmas treat. So simple and so tasty, just be sure to make lots as they’ll get eaten very quickly.
- Preparation time
- Cooking time
- 2 pounds raisins
- 1 pound chocolate (we use 1/2 unsweetened and 1/2 semi-sweet. Use what ever you like really.)
Melt chocolate with a double boiler (or in the microwave). Mix with raisins. Drop them in small piles on parchment paper and let them cool. Makes between 3 and 4 dozen depending on the size you make them. Store in an air tight container.
