Tangerine Tea

I would imagine the same recipe would work with just about any citrus fruit…I’ll have to try it with a pomelo or madarins. I found the original recipe at BellyBytes, and I modified it by removing the cloves, as I’m not really a fan.

- 2 cups water
- 1-½ cups fresh tangerine
- Granulated sugar to taste
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tea bags (black)
Heat water to boiling in large saucepan. Stir in tangerine juice, sugar and cinnamon. Return to the boil. Simmer and stir until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add tea bags.
Let steep 3 to 4 minutes. Serve right away.

i LOVE the tea recipe! sadly i don’t have tangerines right now. im planning to try it with pomegranate juice instead. will let you know how it goes.
