Ingredients
- 2 sockeye salmon fillets
- For the glaze:
- 4 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons of soya sauce
- ½ teaspoon of pepper
- Pinch of salt
- Juice from ½ a lemon
Preparation
Mix all of the ingredients for the glaze and put them in a plastic bag. Add the salmon, seal and shake it about to coat the salmon. Put it on the grill for 5 minutes a side depending on the thickness of the fillets.
Note: If you can leave the salmon to marinade for a couple of hours it makes it taste just that little bit better.

A little sweet, but delish. Served with tomatoes stuffed with a pecan spinach pesto and green beans and rice. Might alter the ratio of maple syrup to soy a bit.
