Maple glazed sockeye salmon

Such an easy tasty recipe. If you ever need to turn around a dinner party worthy dish in a hurry give this a try.

Preparation time
Cooking time

  • 2 sockeye salmon fillets
  • For the glaze:
  • 4 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons of soya sauce
  • ½ teaspoon of pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • Juice from ½ a lemon

Mix all of the ingredients for the glaze and put them in a plastic bag. Add the salmon, seal and shake it about to coat the salmon. Put it on the grill for 5 minutes a side depending on the thickness of the fillets.

Note: If you can leave the salmon to marinade for a couple of hours it makes it taste just that little bit better.

One Comments

  1. A little sweet, but delish. Served with tomatoes stuffed with a pecan spinach pesto and green beans and rice. Might alter the ratio of maple syrup to soy a bit.
