A most curious tea party
December 20 | Comments (3)
I was in search of a new teapot and I put the question to the Forkd crew. I thought I'd share a few of my favourites from our coversation and my search.
Stainless Steel Double Walled Tea Pot; Suavo
Sorapot by Joey Roth
After much searching I decided on the amazing Staub La Theiere Round Teapot. Even though the price is a bit steep (groan), it's worth every cent. It keeps it's heat forever and doubles as both kettle and pot...not to mention it looks great on the stove top. I was lucky to find one here in Calgary and just in time for Christmas. Merry Christmas to me!
Update: As I usually keep searching after I've bought something I'm going to continue the list of beautiful teapots and kettles.

I love our Brown Betty... but of course, it was more of a fiscal choice than a style choice.

The cast iron pot is definitely nice, but if you had that much to spend, I would have definitely put up a little more and gotten one of the limited Sorapots! Those are amazing! Thanks anyway for showing me that it exists.

Sometimes you just have to splurge on a gorgeous item Dylan :)
Florian: I agree, but I didn't want to wait until they decided to actually make them...impatient me.
